Janet has over 25 years of relevant legal and business experience. Prior to joining Anvil Janet held various corporate counsel roles at publicly traded national and international companies, in addition to earlier experience in a law firm practice. Janet serves her customers by delivering strategic advice that reflects an understanding of the business. Janet received her Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from the University of Manitoba in 1992 and her J.D. from the University of Victoria in 1995.

Janet lives in Winnipeg, Manitoba with her spouse and two adult children, neither of whom appear to be leaving home shortly. Janet loves spending time with family and friends, preferably outdoors close to water, trees and great food.
