Mike is a highly entrepreneurial financial executive with over 25 years’ experience. Mike brings solid business acumen and strategic counsel to senior executives and board of directors with a view to enhancing shareholder value.
Mike has a solid background in tax, financial reporting, mergers and acquisitions and strategic planning. He has lectured on corporate taxation and has authored various financial service industry publications and articles. A graduate of the University of Manitoba, Mike received his Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree in 1991 and Masters of Accountancy in 1992. Mike continued on to achieve his Chartered Accountant (CA) designation in 1995 and completed his CICA In-Depth Tax Course.

As a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) Mike’s not your “typical” accountant at heart. Snowboarding, waterskiing, boating, travel, renovating and interior design are some of his passions. Married for over 25 years with two adult children, his favourite time is cottage time.
